Juniper networks have managed to inspect around 1,85 million mobile apps and also spotted more than 276, 200 of nasty apps. It has been found that each person in this world has mobile phone and each of them some or the other day has received a so called SMS Trojan. It is some kind of primitive form of an online scam. This type of message you will get SMS/MMS along with some questionable phone number. And if you reply to this number then you get charged a bigger amount of money. This way only the Trojan works.

As the days are passing by, more and more people are using Smartphone and tablets and cyber criminals, scammer and hackers have also get the perfect time and so they try to keep on changing the technologies. However keeping those in mind, there are some security tips which will be helpful for people who are using Smartphones, mobile or tablets.

Avoid questionable SMS/MMS

Every mobile user should be careful for this tip even they are using an old phone. You should not reply to questionable message from unknown numbers and also you should avoid calling to such numbers. If you do so then there is high possibility at the end of month you will get enormous phone bill.

Avoid opening spam emails

There are some chances of getting virus, Trojan or malware when you open corrupt email attachments. Because of this it is recommended to be careful while opening unfamiliar email.

Lock your phone
